Fire at Reigate College
2:35pm Friday 27th January 2012
Reigate College was closed after fire broke out in a toilet block there.
Two teams of firefighters from Reigate and a crew from Godstone went to the scene yesterday at just after noon.
Four firefighters put on breathing apparatus and used a hose reel jet to put out the flames, which a Surrey Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said had smokelogged the block, but not caused serious damage.
He said the cause of the fire was not yet known and the college was closed for the afternoon.
