Thugs rob man in Redhill

Police are appealing for information after a man was robbed by two thugs in Redhill.
The victim, aged in his 20s, was walking along Fairfax Avenue when he was grabbed by one of the men as he walked past them.
The robber grabbed his shoulder and snatched cash from his pocket before walking away with his accomplice.
Investigating Officer Detective Constable Karen Bradley of Reigate CID, said: “Although the victim was not injured in the attack, we will not tolerate this behaviour and those responsible need to be caught.”
Det Con Bradley said: “Anyone who was in the area around the time of the incident and who saw anything suspicious should contact Surrey Police and help with the investigation.”
The robbery happened at about 11.10pm on Wednesday, February 15.
The victim noticed the two robbers standing on the path near to the right-hand bend in Fairfax Avenue.
Police said the suspect was described as a white man aged in his early 20s, about 6ft tall, skinny, and was wearing a waterproof jacket and a flat-peaked baseball cap.
A black man, aged in his early 20s, left the scene with the suspect.
